The mega shelter in Southeast Austin, located at 7000 Metropolis Drive, is now operational and receiving guests from CASHP (Capital Area Shelter Hub Plan) shelters. The shelter is also prepared to receive survivors who self evacuate from coastal areas.
The public should continue to call 311 or 512-974-2000 with questions about shelter options in Austin.
