Beginning as early as June 1, 2020,* construction of the Elroy Road Safety Project between McAngus Road and Kellam Road will require closures from June through September. The intersection of Elroy Road and Heine Farm Road/McAngus Road and a section of Elroy Road slightly east of the intersection will close for reconstruction. Property owners within the construction limits will be granted access through the closure from Kellam Road. However, through traffic will use the following detours:
Elroy Road Through Traffic:
- From Elroy Road, turn north on Ross Road and continue north
- Turn right on Pearce Lane
- Turn right on Kellam Road
- Connect to Elroy Road
To McAngus Road:
- Take Elroy Road westbound towards FM 973
- Turn left on FM 973
- Turn left to connect to McAngus Road
To Heine Farm Road:
- From Elroy Road, turn north on Ross Road
- Turn right on Stoney Meadow Drive or Heine Farm Road
