I am sharing here a draft resolution for addressing the Central Health Performance Audit. I believe this draft is responsive to community conversation and that the draft promotes transaparency; it addresses the audit itself, the status of healthcare delivery, the need for performance metrics and also builds on past audits and current plans, improves Central Health governance and strengthens our intergovernmental relationship to better deliver the healthcare needed in Travis County. I look forward to the conversation.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
