Due to a recent statute change( Government Code §51.318(b)(7)), as of 1/10/2022 certified fees for the Travis County District Clerk's office has increased to $5.00 per document.

Fee Schedule

  • Records search: $5.00 per cause/name or item searched
  • Certificate of Name Change and Certificate of Divorce $10.00
  • Certified or paper copy: $1.00 per page
  • Certificate on certified copy: $5.00
  • Emailed electronic copy: $.10 per page
  • Mail delivery fee: $3.00 (domestic only, no international mailing)
  • Credit card payments charge a non-refundable 3% convenience fee with a minimum of $3.00

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
