Travis County celebrates mental health with a virtual kick-off event May 2, 2020. Join The Children’s Partnership and the Travis County Sheriff’s office, in collaboration with Kids Living Well members, state leaders, nonprofit organizations, and youth and family representatives for a unique experience of the annual celebration in honor of Travis County Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day, May 2, 2020.

This virtual event replaces our annual Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day Event May 2, 2020 that was planned for the Texas State Capital. Visit the interactive website on May 2 for motivating speeches, fun and games, and invaluable resources. We continue to support children, youth, and their families building awareness and decreasing stigma.

Visit the Childrens Mental Health Awareness Day Austin website. View the Why Green PDF.

Now more than ever, we need awareness and resources for children’s mental health as we adapt to our world’s new normal.
