Bond Election Details

Travis County will hold a bond election on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in conjunction with the scheduled Texas constitutional amendment election. Early voting will begin on Monday, October 23rd, and end on Friday, November 3rd, 2023. For additional information about Early Voting or Election Day polling locations and hours, visit the Travis County Clerk’s website or contact the Election Division at 512-854-4996.

Why Are Bond Elections Important?

Bond elections allow voters to approve or reject long-term financing for major capital improvement projects in Travis County. Financing projects through bond authorizations allows the County to pay for improvements over a period of years rather than funding the projects with current funds. This method of financing allows for current and future citizens of Travis County to share the cost of improvements that benefit residents County-wide.
