The Transactions Division provides legal advice to elected and appointed officials at Travis County. This includes the Commissioners Court, its Executive Managers and Directors, the Sheriff, the District and County Clerks, the County Auditor, the Purchasing Agent and many others. Specifically, the Transactions Division advises these officials on issues involving transportation, parks, subdivision developments and permitting, open records, open meetings, interlocal agreements, elections, purchasing including software agreements and professional services, construction, real estate, film licenses, legislation and many other general areas of law.
