New Announcement Form and BOX Automation Process

The Civil District and County Courts have rolled out a new Announcement Form and BOX Automation process for announcing ready and exhibit sharing. This new process and application will serve to digitize Announcement forms, automate BOX folders and permissions for exhibit sharing, streamline announcement form submissions and reviews, and enable attorneys to add additional BOX exhibit folder permissions without the need to contact the assigned court. click here to view the guide for the new Announcement Form and BOX Permission process, including the new Announcement application.

Attorneys will now have the ability to manage their own BOX Exhibit folder permissions through the Civil Calendaring Online (CCO) Announcement feature and the new Announcement application. This new process is replacing the current .PDF Announcement submission requirement for all non-jury District and County settings.

To ensure efficient and early access to BOX for exhibit sharing, it is critical that all parties, attorneys, and paralegals that will be working on the case or will need access to electronic exhibits be included in the announcement request or, subsequently, through the Announcement Application (after the Announcement has been authorized).

For additional instructions on how to upload pre-marked exhibits in BOX, please click here.
