The mission of the Innovative Justice Program & Analysis Department (IJPAD) is to support the Travis County Commissioners Court and key stakeholders by providing quality data analysis and the planning, implementing, and sustaining county-wide initiatives for the enhancement of public safety and reduction in crime.

JP's vision is to make Travis County a safer, more engaged community by facilitating information exchange, promoting innovative justice policies and practices, and serving individuals who are involved in or at risk of becoming involved in the justice system.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 12.7 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $34.51.
