Classes
The Education Classes provide opportunities for personal growth and development with the ultimate goal of lessening the propensity for future law violations. The sequence of the presented material follows a format of self-assessment, information, commitment to change and setting goals.
The intent of these classes is to enhance the participants competencies, assist participant in obtaining a more positive mindset, prevent thinking errors, and as a result prevent future law violations. The curricula utilized in the classes were developed by National Curriculum & Training Institute, Inc. (NCTI), which has been in existence since 1981. All classes are evidence based utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy. Each class is designed for specific offenses and offenders.

Youth Education Programs
TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $9.12.
