Child Support Court for Travis County (Title IV-D Court)

Child Support Court #19 hears cases that involve child support establishment, enforcement, and paternity cases. The Child Support Courts were created in response to the federal requirement that all states must create an expedited administrative or judicial process to resolve child support cases.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 12.7 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $34.51.
