Travis County invites the public to participate in a virtual public hearing related to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in an effort to help us identify the needs and funding gaps within the community in preparation, prevention, or response to COVID-19 within the Program Year 2019 (PY19) Travis County CDBG service area (unincorporated Travis County, and anywhere in the Villages of San Leanna and Webberville). The information collected will help inform the project decision-making process for Travis County’s second round of CARES Act Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) funds ($888,025) for the preparation, prevention, or response to COVID-19 to serve residents within the Travis County CDBG service area. Selected projects will be included in the CDBG Program Year 2019 (PY19) Action Plan via a substantial amendment.

The invitation is available in English and Spanish (Español). A virtual public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Travis County, Commissioners Courtroom. Due to concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19, the public hearing will be held virtually. Members of the public who wish to participate may call the following toll-free number at the time of the public hearing: (888) 966-1236.
